Wheels on the Bikes Go Round and Round

Trikes, bikes, scooters, skateboards – and even some rollerblades – descended on Active Explorers Glenfield recently for the much anticipated Wheel Day. A rainbow of colourful helmets filled the carpark as children whizzed, zoomed and whirled round and round, honing their skills.

“Everyone got to participate, from our little infants right through to our preschool children. Some took their time while others took off like lightening,” says Centre Manager Kathryn Godfrey.

“It was a lot of fun. The air was filled with giggling and laughter and screams of enjoyment and delight, and the children all had huge beaming smiles on their faces on a beautiful clear sunny day.”
