Making Apple Crumble from Harvested Apples

Little Wonders Oamaru recently harvested some apples from their garden and made apple crumble! The tamariki prepared the apples by peeling and cutting them into cubes and stirring the mixture. This was a fantastic learning tool for the little ones as they used mathematical concepts such as measuring the ingredients. They then ate the pie for afternoon tea with fresh custard...delicious!
