Lollipops Newton Road has been abuzz with excitement over the past few weeks, with Halloween celebrations in full swing. Our tamariki have been busy painting pumpkins, making spiders and skeletons, and decorating our rooms.

Children and teachers dressed up and we went trick or treating to strengthen and celebrate a unique connection with our local community. We as teachers believe in the identities, languages and cultures of all children, whānau, kaiako, and communities to form a strong multicultural foundation. All our children are given the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of their cultural heritage as well as that of others.
