Firetruck Mark visits Learning Adventures Rosedale

The highlight of the day was seeing the big red truck and hearing the siren and seeing the flashing lights; not even the rain dampened the children's spirits. The Infants also had an opportunity to experience this for the fire truck was parked in front of the Infant’s window! Teacher Emily reinforced the experience with a lovely sing along fire truck story.

This visit from the firefighters allowed the children to learn about the dangers of fire and how firefighters wear protective clothes which protect them from the fires but most importantly, the children got familiar with the firefighters, alleviating any fears they might have
