Eid Celebrations

Yesterday children and staff at Learning Adventures Mangere East celebrated Muslim festival Eid al-Ahda. Also called the 'Festival of the Sacrifice' it is the second of two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year, and marks the end of 30 days of fasting.
