Anzac Day at Pascals Kindy

26 April 2018

We set up our ingredients for the children to make Anzac cookies with their parents on Tuesday. We also provided allergy friendly options for our children who have allergies so they were still able to be involved in the process of making a cookie. The majority of our parents participated but some were in a rush to work, so those children made one with the teachers.

We printed off the recipe with photos of the ingredients to help them know what to do.

The children were also provided with the opportunity to paint a rock each using red and black paint to make a poppy. We talked about the poppy and how it represents the soldiers who died fighting for us years ago. We are going to use the rocks around our sandpit area to brighten up a part of our outside environment!
