A visit from the Outreach Librarian

16 July 2021

Our wonderful outreach librarian came and provided a great early literacy session for tamariki today. Nursery tamariki were enraptured with the songs and puppets she brought them to life before their eyes. Tamariki from our older classrooms were invited to join in together for an older early literacy session, they took part in interactive role play as they pretended to be the charactors in the stories. Tamariki also very much enjoyed stories of matariki and have told us they can’t wait for our librarian to come back to see them next term, so she is all booked in and ready to go!
