TELUS Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Free professional counselling support is available to Evolve employees and immediate family. You can access assistance for support with financial, work, physical, family, and social issues. The service is anonymous and confidential and can be via phone, face to face or live chat. Contact: primary 0800 360 364 / secondary 0800 835 870.
Free Annual Flu Vaccinations
These are available annually, usually between March and June. Your manager will provide you with details.
Free First Aid Training
First Aid training is provided to many team members who work in a Centre. This promotes a safer environment for our team, children and families visiting the centres. At Support Office, we also offer a limited number of free training opportunities. Contact your Centre Manager or our Health and Safety Manager if you would like to find out more.

Birthday Half-Day Leave
All permanent and six months’+ fixed term contract team members, are eligible for a half-day leave in the week of, or as close to their birthday as is reasonably possible. You can apply for this using the My Pay app for your manager to approve.
Long Service Awards
We recognise all permanent employees who have been continuously permanently employed, at their 10, 15, 20 and 25 year anniversaries, with a payment paid through payroll (subject to tax), with 5 year anniversaries recognised with a certificate.
Teacher Training Support for Successful Completion of Tertiary Education Study in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
For our permanent employees, Evolve will reimburse 50% of your final years’ fees (or for your 1-year postgraduate ECE qualification). This will be reimbursed on receipt of a paid invoice/receipt, following the successful completion of your qualification leading to your registration as a teacher with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand. The qualifications covered include a Bachelor's Degree in ECE, a Graduate Diploma of Teaching, and a Master of Teaching in ECE, and must count towards the definition of certificated teachers for the purposes of Ministry of Education funding. To be eligible for 50% reimbursement, Evolve also asks you to commit to remain employed for a period of 12 months from the date of reimbursement. Ask your Centre Manager for the terms & conditions which will be set out in a formal letter of offer which needs to be signed and returned in acceptance.
Teacher Trainee Support
Teachers in training working with Evolve will receive 2 weeks paid toward their 4-week practicum in their second and third year of training, and 2 weeks paid for those completing their Graduate Diploma in ECE. In the unlikely event a team member needs to repeat a year, these payments are not paid a second time. These payments will be also pro-rata if you are a part-time employee. To be eligible for the practicum support, Evolve asks you to commit to remain employed for a period of 12 months from the date of reimbursement. Ask your Centre Manager for the terms & conditions which will be set out in a formal letter of offer which needs to be signed and returned in acceptance.
Fees for New Zealand Teacher Registration
To support you in the teaching profession, Evolve will pay your Teacher Registration fees. If you resign within 12 months of payment, you will be required to repay the remaining/pro-rata portion of your registration.

Centre Discounts
If you are a permanent or fixed-term employee, subject to the hours you work, you are eligible to a discount of 50% of the fees payable at the centre for your child/children (subject to availability).
Relocation Payment
For our permanent team members, a relocation payment of up to $2,000 may be available for reimbursement of expenses towards the cost of moving, where you are required to make a substantial move to take up a new role. Reimbursement will be made after an expense claim is submitted with supporting receipts. If you resign within 12 months of payment, you will be required to repay a pro-rata portion.
Employee Referral Scheme
Employees who refer a friend, colleague or family member to Evolve who is successfully employed, will be eligible for a referral bonus. Referrals should be made via the Careers website. If you have questions regarding a referral, please email careers@eeg.co.nz
