About Lollipops Napier Port

At Lollipops Napier Port, we focus on supporting your child’s physical, emotional, and social growth through fun, hands-on learning experiences. Our special "Taha Tinana" space encourages physical activity, while our "Tuakana" dining area helps children develop independence and essential self-help skills.
Our purpose-built centre flows naturally between indoor and outdoor spaces, providing the perfect setting for active and imaginative play. The large outdoor area is ideal for sensory and messy play, while inside, there are quiet zones where children can explore their creativity and reflect.
We cater to different age groups, from infants to preschoolers, with a variety of learning experiences and rhythms tailored to their developmental needs. Whether it’s through weekly physical sessions or celebrating cultural events like Matariki, we ensure every child’s learning journey is enriching and fun.

Our team is dedicated to creating a warm, loving environment for both children and their families. With a wide range of strengths and interests – from art and messy play to supporting diverse learners and Te Ao Māori – we work together to make sure your child feels engaged, supported, and valued.

Our Rooms

At Lollipops Napier Port, our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to flow seamlessly, allowing children to enjoy both active and creative play. With different areas for each age group, our centre provides a safe, engaging environment that supports your child’s development every step of the way.

0–2 years

Teina

Teina is a cosy and inviting space for our youngest learners, where they can explore, develop, and grow at their own pace. The room features soft areas for quiet time and sensory play, helping infants engage with their environment in a safe and nurturing setting.

2-3 years

Pīwakawaka

Pīwakawaka is all about discovery and socialising. Toddlers can explore a range of learning experiences– from hands-on learning to creative play – while developing friendships and independence. The space is designed to spark curiosity and encourage little ones to explore the world around them.

3–5 years

Tuakana

Tuakana is a dynamic space for preschoolers to build on their skills and knowledge. Children in this room enjoy physically active play, creative expression, and teamwork. The dining area also gives them the chance to serve their own lunch, fostering self-help skills and a sense of independence.
