I'm Cherie, the Centre Manager here at Lollipops Grey Lynn.
I've taught hundreds of little ones over the past 20 years. I love it!
I am passionate about supporting tamariki to grow in confidence and find their interests and love for learning.
Being able to spark curiosity, create learning environments which inspire tamariki, and working in partnership with parents and whanau are the most rewarding parts of my role.

At Lollipops Grey Lynn, we focus on nurturing each child’s unique strengths through meaningful relationships and learning through play. Our approach is rooted in the values of whanaungatanga (relationships) and manaakitanga (care), which guide everything we do—from planning to daily interactions.

Our centre features large natural outdoor play areas, age-appropriate learning environments, and a strong focus on community. Located within walking distance of local schools and shops, we’re proud to be part of a vibrant, multicultural neighbourhood.

Centre life is lively and engaging. We cater to children from birth to school age, with tailored learning spaces for infants and preschoolers. Our team documents each child’s learning journey using Storypark and portfolios, and we offer nutritious meals and snacks each day.
