Meet our Centre Manager

Kiaora

My name is Candy, and I’m the Centre Manager at Lollipops Britomart. Originally from Taipei, I’ve lived in Auckland since 2007 and hold a Bachelor of Teaching in ECE from the University of Auckland. I bring extensive experience in both teaching and leadership roles across the sector. I’m passionate about creating a safe, enriching environment where tamariki thrive through play-based learning, and I value strong, respectful partnerships with whānau.

I’m proud to lead the Britomart team and look forward to supporting your child’s learning journey.

About Lollipops Britomart

At Lollipops Britomart, we believe childhood should be full of curiosity, laughter, and discovery. Our diverse, multicultural environment helps children build a strong sense of identity while learning to appreciate the world around them.

We offer a rich mix of learning experiences that support every stage of development. From sensory play and creative arts to outdoor adventures and quiet moments, our daily rhythms are designed to balance learning, fun, and care.

There are a few things that make our centre really special. Every Wednesday, our youngest babies enjoy Sensory Wednesdays, designed to gently stimulate their senses and encourage exploration. Meanwhile, our preschoolers roll up their sleeves and bake fresh bread for everyone to enjoy at afternoon tea. Bread Day has become a much-loved tradition and something that truly sets us apart.

We’re a passionate and caring group of early childhood professionals who love what we do. Every child is treated with warmth and respect, and we work closely with families to make sure you always feel informed and supported. We see our role as a partnership with you in helping your child learn, grow, and shine.

Our Rooms

Our centre is filled with open, light-filled spaces designed to inspire exploration. Indoors, children can dive into arts, stories, and hands-on projects. Outdoors, there’s room to run, climb, dig, and garden. Whether it’s building a sandcastle or baking bread, our environment invites learning through play and real-world experiences.

0–2 years

Fantail Room

In the Fantail Room, our infants and toddlers enjoy a calm and loving space with soft, sensory learning experiences and plenty of time outdoors. Every child is supported at their own pace, with gentle rhythms and lots of cuddles.

2-6 years

Tūī Room

The Tui Room is where our preschoolers learn and play together in a lively, mixed-age environment. With access to our large outdoor area, they enjoy sand play, obstacle courses, gardening, and more. It’s an exciting space where friendships blossom and every day brings something new.
