About Lollipops Blighs Road

At Lollipops Blighs Road, we focus on creating a space where tamariki are encouraged to lead their own learning. Using a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, children have the freedom to explore through open-ended play, art, music, and storytelling. We believe every child is unique and should have the opportunity to express themselves in their own way.

Our purpose-built centre is designed with plenty of room for tamariki to explore both indoors and outdoors. We regularly update our outdoor equipment to keep things fresh, and we proudly display the children's work to celebrate their creativity and progress.

Each day at Lollipops Blighs Road is filled with exciting learning experiences tailored to each age group. From learning social skills and developing early literacy to going on fun excursions and taking part in special programmes, there's always something new and engaging for tamariki to enjoy.

Our Rooms

Our centre offers a welcoming environment where tamariki can learn and play at their own pace. With spacious learning environments and exciting outdoor areas, each room is designed to inspire curiosity and promote creative learning for all ages.

0 - 16 months

Tūī Room

The Tūī Room is a calm, nurturing space where infants can explore their world safely. With sensory learning experiences and age-appropriate resources, tamariki develop their motor skills and begin to interact with the world around them.

1 - 2.5 years

Kākāpō Room

In the Kākāpō Room, tamariki begin to explore more social interactions and develop early language and physical skills. With a mix of hands-on learning experiences, sensory play, and space for free exploration, tamariki start to gain confidence in their abilities.

2 - 3.5 years

Kiwi Room

The Kiwi Room is all about fostering curiosity and independence. Tamariki explore their creativity through arts and crafts, while developing their communication and problem-solving skills, all in a safe and supportive environment that encourages them to learn through play.

3 - 6 years

Pūkeko Room

The Pūkeko Room is where tamariki prepare for school. Here, they engage in structured learning experiences that focus on early literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Through collaborative play, tamariki build confidence, learn to share ideas, and develop skills they’ll need for their next step in education.
