I’m Andrea! I’m so excited to be joining the team as Centre Manager! Supporting children to grow into confident, capable learners has been a lifelong passion of mine.

I have a background in Psychology and am currently studying toward a master’s in educational and Developmental Psychology, which continues to inspire my work in early childhood education. I believe in nurturing a sense of belonging, kindness, and respect in every child.

Outside of the centre, I love spending time outdoors with my husband and three children, going for runs, and enjoying a good BBQ on the weekend!

Conveniently located near Glenfield Mall and Library, our centre benefits from a strong connection to the community. Tamariki regularly interact with local services, deepening their understanding of the world around them in a supportive, vibrant environment.

We support children across all age groups with spaces that match their developmental needs. From nurturing infant care to engaging toddler play and purposeful preschool learning, every child experiences a balance of education, play, and meaningful relationships.

Our Rooms

Our Spaces

Rimu offers spacious, outdoor and indoor environments tailored for infants to preschoolers. With areas for physical play, nature exploration, and hands-on activities like carpentry and messy play, children develop confidence and curiosity. Each room supports specific developmental stages, creating a nurturing, stimulating setting for all. 

0–2 years

Manuka Room

A calm and spacious area for infants, Manuka features decking, turf, a large sandpit, and a dedicated bike path. Purpose-built for this age group, it includes soft surfaces, climbing boxes, and outdoor equipment designed to support motor development and sensory exploration in a safe, loving environment. 

2-3 years

Kowhai Room

This interactive toddler space encourages messy, hands-on play with areas for obstacle courses, climbing, and a basketball hoop. The addition of a whare offers a cultural learning space, while activities promote physical coordination, problem-solving, and early social skills. 

3–5 years

Pohutukawa Room

A vibrant, large space full of opportunities for preschoolers to explore and grow. With climbing boxes, a tree house, monkey bars, a bike track, a sandpit, and carpentry stations, Pohutukawa is designed to develop independence, creativity, and school readiness through purposeful play.
