Meet our Centre Manager
Kia ora
I'm Tom Wu, passionate about education and bringing joy to learning. I hold degrees in Economics, Tourism, Early Childhood Education, and a Master’s in Education from the University of Auckland.
My career began in telecommunications across Shanghai, Hong Kong, Dubai, and the Middle East. Transitioning to Early Childhood Education has been amazing.
I love working with tamariki, making learning fun, interactive, and creative through storytelling, illustration, and technology. I believe nurturing imagination is a precious gift. Outside work, I enjoy painting, cooking, photography, piano, and traditional Chinese medicine.
I’m excited to share my energy with Active Explorers Ellerslie.
